July is the birthday of this website as well as mine. Who knew that it would go on for years and would end up reinventing itself every chance I get. Then I realised the website which started out as a simple music blog was able to attract a wider range of multimedia topics. So it has been everything I wanted it to be except the niche blog which Blogie and the rest of the blogger pips keep encouraging everyone to make their blogs in to – and there is a very good explanation for that. They say the more you write niche topics, the likelier chance of getting a “niche” following. But it’s never been easy for me to get that ever elusive “niche” following. I often rely on the random traffic I get from the random posts I happen to come up with.
I also realised that the website is also a semblance of myself, of my ever fluctuating interests and at this point in my life when I want to stay focused, I seem to want to implement it on this blog as well. Finally.
If music is what got this blog rolling then expect that the next few months will be ALL ABOUT MUSIC. Let me know what you think about that, if the random content is more your thing or a blog about music seems to sound more like my style.
Again, happy birthday Southisms.
